All about the best cell phones

HMD Global seems to be really focused on getting to market affordable cell phones in 2021 and, after revealing the specifications of the basic Nokia 1.4, is now preparing the successor to the 2.4 to hit markets around the world, starting with India. Although the name has not been revealed, the entry-level smartphone could be called Nokia 2.5. The connection can be made due to the code that the new cell phone is registered with on the Bluetooth SIG website (a group of companies that created the wireless technology standard Bluetooth), which is similar to the previous model. In addition, the website reveals some of the first specifications.

While the Nokia 2.4 released in November in the Indian market is listing as T99651AA1, the future smartphone (Nokia 2.5?) appears in the listing with the code T99652AA1, that is, practically the same. It is worth remembering that the 2.4 is already on sale, and costs 10.399 rupees (R$ 777, without import fees or taxes).

Nokia 2.5 is unlikely to feature 5G

Since we are talking about an entry-level cell phone and, therefore, quite cheap by the standards of current smartphones, speculation suggests that the successor to the Nokia 2.4 will not have access to networks 5G, just like the current one. According to the leaked information, it will have support for Bluetooth 5.0 and possibly slightly better settings than those found in the model released in November.

The possible Nokia 2.5 has not had any further details leaked, but it is said to be equipped with a MediaTek processor, HD+ resolution screen and at least two rear cameras. The model currently on the market is equipped with MediaTek Helio P22, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, as well as a 6,5-inch HD+ screen. The rear cameras have 13 MP on the main camera and 2 MP on the depth sensor, in addition to the selfie camera, with 5 megapixels. The battery of the current model is 4500 mAh, which can give users up to two days of autonomy.
