The new update to Google's visual translation tool allows users to translate any text captured by the camera offline. The feature is still in beta, so to access it, you need to update the app to have a chance to test the tool.
Language packs can be downloaded to Android devices, and each glossary requires a lot of space. The idea is that the phone will respond in real time during a conversation or in an emergency, unlike an online translator.
To download the new language pack, when implemented, there will be a list of languages with a download button next to each language. Click it to sync the glossary, and click it again when you want to uninstall.

New functions
Much like Google Translate's image translation feature, the new Lens update translates the content offline before you even take a photo, displaying transposed images on the screen for the user to compare. Finally, the content is translated and gathered into a single block of text, making it impossible to select individual parts.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Google was transforming productivity of the tool, allowing the user transcribe handwritten notes or on-screen texts for the computer. In addition, Lens now shows pronunciations of words in other languages, as well as search results based on the identified text.
It is worth remembering that availability occurs in a parallel update of Google servers, only to those who agree to participate in the tests. There are no dates yet for final implementation.
