All about the best cell phones

And for those who thought that the Galaxy Note had been canceled. Maybe it really was. The latest chapter in the soap opera involving Samsung's famous line indicates that the company is unlikely to launch new versions of the smartphone any time soon. Or perhaps ever.

Rumors about the end of the models gained strength along with the information (which ended up being confirmed) that the Galaxy s21 ultra would support the S Pen, the main highlight of the Galaxy Note line. In addition, the accessory should be present in the Galaxy z fold 3.

All of this raised the possibility that the Galaxy Note had become redundant and that it would only be a matter of time before it was canceled. Despite this, Samsung has publicly stated that had no interest in closing the line, despite admitting that plans to take “the Galaxy Note experience to more products".

Now, Ice Universe, a famous leaker of the South Korean manufacturer, has released a very simple tweet, but with a very direct message. In the caption of a photo with the words The End, he simply wrote “Galaxy Note”.

This was being speculated since, despite not having confirmed that the model was canceled, Samsung has not announced the Galaxy Note 21, which was expected to gain the company's spotlight after the launch of the Galaxy S21 models.

Industry analyst Ross Young is another who has written about the topic. According to him, the canceled Galaxy Note could even help S21 sales. That's because the strongest sales period for S models is usually during the window between the two lines. Without the Note, the S21 would have remained Samsung's flagship device for longer.

There is still hope

Despite this, Young said that the company could downgrade the Note devices, launching an FE version, just like it did with the S20 last year. In other words, a slightly less complete version of the device, to compete for sales with a different line of the S21.

Recent leaks also indicate that the South Korean company could keep the Note active to test new features. It is in it that the rumors about the under-screen camera focus. Despite this, everything is just speculation and, so far, we still have no forecast for the launch of the Galaxy Note 21.
