We spend more and more time using our cell phones. In the car, they serve as a GPS, to help us get to places, and even as a companion when listening to a music playlist or podcast. As a result, the battery often runs out too quickly. During CES 2021, Panasonic has announced an innovation that will help users on the go: a loader wireless with fast charging, made especially for cars.
With two coils, the traditional static one and an innovative one that moves, the new charging system was designed to be more precise and efficient in any vehicle. Among the advantages are the absence of wires on the dashboard (and the consequent knots in the wires) and the fact that it is not necessary to connect anything before starting the charge.
The moving coil
The moving coil system is still patent pending, but it is a very creative solution and, according to Panasonic, makes the wireless charger better attached to the cell phone. It can be used with virtually any device that supports wireless charging.
With a charging speed of 15W, the new accessory has a moving coil that intelligently aligns itself with the phone. Just like with conventional chargers, you can continue using your device while it charges.
For long-term charging, the device (with moving coil) also has thermal management, preventing temperature increases that can harm the smartphone's performance and lifespan.
