After send to market the Mi 11, the world's first smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 processor, Xiaomi is preparing the Lite version of the flagship, targeting an audience that doesn't have much purchasing power - or doesn't want to spend a lot - to have a top-of-the-line smartphone in 2021. Apparently, the line will also have a version to fit in less advantageous pockets. The Vietnamese channel Pixel ended up posting a video showing, in detail, what appears to be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.
In addition, an image showing the rear of the smartphone, in black, was released by international websites as “official” from the manufacturer, indicating that it may indeed be the one used in the poster when the launch of the Mi 11 Lite finally happens (which could happen in March, according to the leakers). In it, it is possible to observe the optical set with three rear cameras, accompanied by an LED flash.
More modest, still respectable
Unlike the Mi 11, the Lite version of Xiaomi's flagship will not have the Snapdragon 888. However, this does not mean that the phone's specifications will be disappointing. The Pixel has revealed some of the configurations that will be incorporated into the model by the Chinese manufacturer. And they are quite interesting, want to see?
According to the video, the Mi 11 Lite will come with a Snapdragon 732G SoC processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The screen will be Full HD+, with an IPS LCD display and a 120Hz refresh rate, identical to the more expensive models. The camera system, highlighted in the image, will consist of a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, the selfie camera will offer 16-megapixel resolution.
The price, which is the main reason for a manufacturer to plan a Lite version of a flagship, has also been leaked and, if confirmed, will possibly make the Mi 11 Lite a sales success. The smartphone, which will run the Android 11 operating system, with the MIUI 12.5 interface, and will offer a fingerprint reader on the side of the device, should cost around US$ 350 (R$ 1.846, without taxes or other fees applied on import). The Mi 11 in its normal version, just for comparison, was launched in China with prices between R$ 3.227 and R$ 3.779, also without the incidence of fees or taxes.
