The iPhone 13 could feature a smaller notch on its front screen, as well as several other new features that could greatly benefit the company's smartphone line. Apple. Naturally, the news is not confirmed, so it is worth being cautious when reading the information below.
According to sources from the Digitimes website, Apple is reportedly developing a reduced-size 3D sensor for the next generation of smartphones. In theory, this would allow the Cupertino company to reduce the size of the notch on the front display, which in turn would increase its viewing area.

That's not all: the Dutch site also claims that the iPhone 13 will not only have a smaller notch, but will also feature innovations in the cameras. Specifically, the Digitimes mentions two sensors previously unheard of in devices from Apple – a “time of flight” (“ToF”) and a telephoto lens, for zooming in on more distant objects without losing focus.
A reduced notch has been the desire of smartphone fans Apple for at least two generations, and the iPhone 12 has had widespread speculation about it. However, the new device has arrived and we saw exactly the same notch used by Tim Cook's company. Rumors about the iPhone 13, however, indicate that the change should impact all variants. In other words: if the Apple launch four different models of the next iPhone, all versions will include the change.
Finally, other rumors pertinent to the iPhone 13 include support for Wi-Fi 6E technology (same benefits as Wi-Fi 6, but with reduced latency and increased data traffic), a 120Hz frame-renewal display (more crystal-clear images and more fluid movements) and improvements to the wide-angle lens (for wide-angle images), as well as the continuation of LiDAR optical detection technology.
