Two months after launching the Oppo A15 in the Indian market, the manufacturer is preparing a similar model (but with slightly improved configurations), the A15s, which had images leaked this Wednesday (16/12), indicating a wider range of colors than those available for its “brother”. According to renderings of images made by the website 91mobiles, based on information provided by leaker Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the design of the Oppo A15s will be practically the same as the A15.

It won't be as hyped or as Reno 5 or Reno 5 Pro 5G, also recently launched, but will have space for a teardrop-shaped selfie camera and three color options: Rainbon Silver, Dynamic Black and Dynamic White. The popular Mystic Blue, at first, would not be available for users interested in Oppo's A15s.

Rumors released so far, but not yet officially confirmed by Oppo, indicate that the Oppo A15s will arrive with an IPS LCD screen, measuring 6,52 inches and HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), as seen in the images. The smartphone will offer three rear cameras, coupled in a square compartment, along with an LED flash. The camera set is expected to have 5 megapixels of resolution on the front, 13 MP on the main rear and two other sensors, of 2 megapixels each, complementing the lenses.

The Oppo A15s battery is expected to be 4230 mAh, while the processor offered would be the same as the A15 (MediaTek Helio P35), accompanied by 4 GB of RAM (1 GB more than its predecessor) and 64 GB of internal storage. The price? There is no official confirmation yet, but it is speculated that the A15s, whose images have just been leaked, will cost 11.490 rupees in the local market (around R$ 797 in direct conversion, without taxes or fees).

The expected launch date is December 31st. In other words, before the turn of 2021, Oppo will certainly confirm whether the information (and images) leaked about the A15s so far are true, or just speculation and rumors that will never come to fruition in the homes of consumers who are fans of the popular brand. The promise nthe launch poster is that the company will give a 5% cashback to Indian buyers who purchase using certain bank cards.
