After carrying out a series of tests with its new user interface, Samsung has completed the development of OneUI 3.0, which is based on the Android 11 operating system. For now, the first cell phones to receive the update will be those from Galaxy S20 line, but the brand's other models will also benefit from the feature.
The new interface developed by the Korean company has received improvements in both form and functionality. Visually, OneUI 3.0 has received a redesign, becoming more aesthetically pleasing and cleaner, which can reduce anxiety and help with concentration when using the smartphone. Still in the visual field, the interface allows for more customization options, including reducing the opacity of the icons on the screen to be able to enjoy the wallpaper.

As for features, one of the main changes made was focused on practicality. It is now possible to reorganize the icons on the toggle bar and clipboard, making it possible to pin the most used shares in this field. In addition, OneUI 3.0 allows you to create two profiles, one professional and one personal, with different settings. For example, you can create a shortcut and icon scheme to make work easier and, when you finish work, simply switch profiles and have easy access to what is important during happy hour or the weekend.
Other new features are related to photography and lifestyle. The camera has received an upgrade in its AI that automatically improves image quality when zooming in. In addition, it is possible to undo all changes made to a photo that the user has edited, returning to the original version. For those who monitor their health, the interface has brought new features to measure cell phone usage, how many times the user checked notifications while driving and more topics.
The Galaxy S20 series is already receiving the OneUI 3.0 update based on Android 11, but at the moment it has only arrived in the US, South Korea and Europe. Over time, more regions should receive the interface. Samsung has also released a schedule with the expected release of the upgrade for other devices that you can check here.
