All about the best cell phones

Snake II – the classic snake game – is back for iPhone and Android devices. Apple Watch. The game is one of the widgets available in the Retro Widget 2 app.

If you lived through the 1990s and early 2000s, you probably remember that Snake II was the craze on ten out of ten Nokia cell phones. Simple, intuitive and fun, the game consisted of a little snake going through mazes in search of food. As it ate, its body grew, taking up more space on the screen. The player's challenge was to finish the map without making the snake bump into itself.

Retro Widget 2 promises to bring the same feeling of the era by emulating Nokia's classic green interface on your smartphone. This way, you can experience Snake II in two modes: one that simulates the difficulty of the era, controlling the snake using the numeric keypad, or adapting it to the iPhone game mode in which the character is controlled by gestures.

In addition, Retro Widget 2 also offers a simplified version of Snake II for Apple Watch, where you can control the snake by rotating its crown or using gestures on the watch screen.

Retro Widget 2 is available on the App Store for $1,99 for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The app includes the 9 classic Snake II levels plus 5 original mazes.
