Instagram has changed a lot throughout 2020. Now, the app has brought another new feature, this time a long-awaited one. The Instagram Live Rooms feature allows you to create live videos with 4 people at the same time.

Currently, the format only allows users to invite one person at a time. To invite someone else to the conversation, you have to remove the current guest. The closest the app has come to Live Rooms is direct messages with 4 people, an extension of the same tool created by Facebook for Whatsapp and Messenger. 

Instagram Live Rooms has been tested with Indian influencers, and the feature has been well received there. So, the update will be released first in the country and also in Indonesia. The rest of the world will have to wait a little longer to receive the tool.

Fun in pandemic times

Due to the isolation required to control the spread of COVID-19, the search for entertainment has increased considerably. And the formats that were previously in-person were reinvented to fit on screens, and the empire of live broadcasts emerged. And to meet the high demand for this format, networks adapted.
