All about the best cell phones

A few details that have emerged two weeks ago already gave clues that the successor of the intermediate line Reno 4 (pictured above) was coming. Now, the Chinese company has practically made its latest smartphone official, the new Oppo Reno 5 Pro, which already has images and specifications.

The website of the Chinese agency TENAA, similar to Anatel in Brazil, presented the registration of the smartphones from the Reno 5 line. The document contains images of the Pro model, but they do not have much definition, in addition to being dark.

So, there’s not much we can say about the design. All we can notice is that the screen will apparently be curved at the edges. In addition, there’s no visible notch, but it’s possible that the front camera will be in a cutout.

Images of the new Oppo Reno 5 Pro registered on TENAAAlong with the images, the record includes some specifications of the new smartphone. It will have four rear cameras aligned vertically, with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and two 2MP cameras, probably for depth and macro photography. The display will be a 6,55-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution.

The Reno 5 Pro is expected to come with MediaTek's Dimensity 1000+ processor. Since the Reno 4 series features the 2.0W SuperVooc 65 fast charger, it was expected that its successor will also feature a super-powerful charger, but this was not listed. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro's registration only lists a 4250 mAh battery.

The specifications end there. However, the Chinese company has revealed more information. The Reno 5 line will have three models, a Reno 5 and a Reno 5 Pro Plus. One of them will have the Snapdragon 765G, while the other will have the 865 model. With all this information already available, it is likely that Oppo will launch the models soon.
