Just a few weeks before the launch of the game that inspired it, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 is already a success. All units available for pre-order in China have sold out. And now, to celebrate, OnePlus will also release a case for the non-cyberpunk version of the smartphone.
The accessory is also inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, but it is not identical to the special edition. It has a different look, made with simpler materials, which reduce its cost. According to the Chinese portal My Drivers, the Cyberpunk 2077-inspired cover will hit the Chinese market for approximately $4,50. The price is lower than expected for an item considered special.

Sales phenomenon
According to the portal, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077, launched on November 11, had all its stocks sold out during the pre-sale. More than 200 thousand units were sold in seconds. The success inflated the model.
Despite officially being sold for US$597, shortly after the news of the sell-out, some resellers were already advertising it for up to US$150 more.
With the success of the special edition and the affordable price of the accessory, the company expects that the Cyberpunk 2077-inspired cover will also be a sales phenomenon.
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 hits stores on December 10, alongside the official release of the game. Both the special edition and the Cyberpunk 8-inspired 2077T cover will only be sold in China.
