Even with American restrictions on Huawei, the brand must still stock up on many Kirin 9000 processor units produced at TSMC factories. One of these prohibitions in the US is not allowing the company to produce or buy parts from American suppliers. However, this prohibition itself does not apply in the case of Huawei using what has already been manufactured, that is, the brand can stock up on a good amount of chipsets.
It is not yet known exactly how many processors the company will be able to stock for the production of the Huawei P50 smartphone, which will be released in February 2021. In addition, the demand for this new phone may be high, which may lead the company to look for a new alternative to meet its needs, such as using chipsets from MediaTek or Qualcomm. It is also interesting to think about how the brand will be able to insert these processors into the Mate series and other future ones, given that this stock will eventually run out.

In addition, the new Huawei P50 screens will be produced and supplied by companies such as Samsung and LG. Thus, Huawei is doing everything it can to try to get around the situations that prevent the brand from solidly positioning itself internationally. The company is still a major power in China, but with American sanctions, the international market is increasingly shaking its development.
