The users of the Netflix You may have noticed that the platform comes up with new features every now and then. In 2021, Netflix may launch a new feature, the snooze function. Basically, it will be a snooze timer that can automatically stop playing a series after a time set by the user, instead of relying on the message “Is anyone watching?”
Additionally, the feature could also be used to predetermine screen time for children. The expectation is that the feature could be quite useful if added to Android.

By combing through the lines of code in the latest Netflix version 7.82.1, the folks at XDA Developers discovered by chance the possibility of creating the suspend function, but at the moment there are still not many details about how the process would work until the feature is implemented. Therefore, at least in the next few months, users should not expect this new feature.
It still seems like there are a lot of changes that need to be made before the feature actually reaches Netflix users. That is, if it ever does, after all, the company doesn't always implement all the tests it does with its users.
Netflix continues to offer other new features such as teaching users how to hide and remove programs from the Continue Watching tab, in addition to facing the growing number of competitors in the video streaming market.
Now we just have to wait and see whether or not Netflix's snooze feature will be implemented. Either way, its mere existence can at least give us clues about Netflix's upcoming additions.
