If you're one of those people who likes to sleep listening to soft sounds, but suffers from the headphones falling out of your ears all the time, you'll like the new Amazfit ZenBuds with Bluetooth 5.0.
The new headphones from Huami arrive on the market with bold promises. According to the manufacturer, which is a Xiaomi company, the device was developed to stay attached to the ear without the risk of falling and, as a bonus, help the quality of users' sleep.
The Zenbuds are soundproofed against external noise, monitor sleep (through an integrated accelerometer, like those found in smartwatches), measure heart rate and play audio on a loop for up to 12 hours straight. All of this is securely attached to the user's ears.
Huami's sleep headphones are also designed to not disturb anyone sleeping near the user. According to the Chinese manufacturer, there is the option to set an alarm to go off, but the sound is only played inside the device itself, and cannot be heard outside.
Cons: Amazfit ZenBuds do not play audio

The device is designed to play relaxing sounds that help the user sleep better, and comes with an app with 20 audio options such as forest birds, waves on the beach, falling rain, among others.
However, since nothing in life is 100% perfect, these headphones also have their drawbacks. The main one will frustrate anyone looking for headphones for their basic function, listening to music. There is no way to play music from your smartphone. Likewise, you can't use them to play audio from any other source on your phone, such as the radio, for example. In addition, the ZenBuds also do not monitor the user's heart rate if they are awake.
Technical specifications and price

The headphones have a 10 mAh battery, and their case holds another 280 mAh. In addition, the box also includes a USB-C cable and silicone protectors in four different sizes, for better adaptation to the ears. These headphones do not have any buttons. Therefore, all sound settings, including volume, must be made through the Zepp app, available for iOS and Android.
They weigh only 1,78 grams, meaning they are much lighter than the AirPods Pro, for example, which weighs 5,4 grams. In addition, the device promises to automatically turn off as soon as the user falls asleep and their sleep is detected.
The Amazfit ZenBuds headphones cost $149,99 at North American Amazon (around R$810,16), but the store charges an import tax that is more expensive than the headphones themselves (US$176,15, or R$951,46), which makes the price of the sleeping headphones quite steep. The Brazilian version of the store does not have the Huami device available for sale.
