Announced in September, the Huawei P Smart 2021 has been renamed and will be launched in Asian markets as the Huawei Y7A.
Although there is no official statement from the company, Huawei has opened a page in your online store with the smartphone already having its new name. In fact, the surprise was only noticeable due to the specifications of the Y7A, which are the same as those of the Huawei P Smart 2021.
As you can see when you enter the page, sales of the Huawei Y7A have not been released. According to the counter, it will be available for purchase on October 30th. In addition, it is worth mentioning that its launch will take place in some countries in the Asian market, including Malaysia.
Due to its announcement as Huawei P Smart 2021 last month, a rebranding was necessary, a correction of the brand's positioning. With the change, the new cell phone from the Chinese manufacturer is part of the Y line, instead of the P Smart.

What are the specifications of the Huawei Y7A?

Despite the abundance of cameras on the rear, the front has only one, 8MP and F/2.0 aperture.
It features the Kirin 710A octa-core chipset, accompanied by the Mali-G450 graphics card. Although it is a higher-generation phone, this processor is the same as the one in its predecessor. Huawei P Smart 2020.
In addition, the smartphone has two variants, both with 4GB of RAM. In Asian markets, Huawei will sell the version with 64GB of storage. Meanwhile, the 128GB version will be exclusive to the Latin American market.
However, you can use memory cards in both models to increase this space.
The Huawei Y7A will have a 6,67-inch IPS LCD screen, with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Finally, the Huawei did not say whether the P Smart 2021 (or Y7A?) will arrive in Brazil.
