All about the best cell phones

With App Store policies being a point of conflict between the ecosystem and Apple, the arrival of the xCloud game streaming service for iPads and iPhones remains vague.

But there is a way out, another way to enjoy games on these devices. It is through Microsoft's new application that allows you to play content from your Xbox One to an iPad or iPhone.

Unlike xCloud, Xbox Remote Play only allows you to play games that you have downloaded to your console. Despite the limitations, the new app allows players to keep in touch with their gaming friends, share game clips on social media, and receive invites to games, group chats, and other services.

Requirements

To perform these transmissions, the user must connect the iPhone or iPad to the Xbox One. Remember that the network must be of good quality to use the features.

As for the connection between the controller and the iPhone or iPad, this can be done via Bluetooth in addition to Wi-Fi. Once this connection is made, when the cell phone connects to the Xbox One, the console is no longer responsible for the game, which runs only on the cell phone. In other words, the player turns his cell phone into a “portable console.”

See how it works in the video below:

The new app has been available for Android since September and will soon be available on iOS. It's worth noting that the app will also work for the Xbox Series X and Series S when they launch.

Sony has had a streaming app for iOS for the PS4 since 2019. Despite being on the market for a short time, the app has been updated to meet the demand of users of the new console, which will arrive in November, along with Microsoft's new generation.
