The screen was developed by Dowoo Insys, a Korean company specializing in the production of ultra-thin glass for smartphone screens. The company's largest shareholder and investor is Samsung Display.

Second a report from The Elec website, the Galaxy Fold 2 should not support S Pen, even with the hearsay who guaranteed that would be the case. The reason would be the decision to use ultra-thin glass on the internal screen, which ended up being damaged in tests with the stylus pen. Thus, the launch of a Fold with the S Pen was postponed to 2021.

The Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to launch at Samsung's Unpacked event on August 5, alongside the Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 + and the Note 20 Ultra.
