Just like expected, Oppo today launched the mid-range smartphones Reno4 and Reno4 Pro, which feature a Snapdragon 765G processor and a 4000 mAh battery with 2.0-watt SuperVooc 65 fast charging. With this charging speed, 15 minutes on the socket are enough for a 60% charge, and in 36 minutes, it reaches 100%, according to information from the company.
The regular model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB versions, while the Pro has a version with 8GB and 128GB, and another with 12GB and 256GB.
Oppo reno4 pro
Let's start with the Oppo Reno4 Pro. It has a 6,55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 20:9 aspect ratio, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and features HDR10+. The 32-megapixel front camera has an F/2.4 aperture and is located in a circular cutout, while the fingerprint sensor is located below the display.
The triple camera has a 48-megapixel main camera with F/1.7 aperture and Sony IMX586 sensor with optical image stabilization. In addition, it has a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with F/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with IMX708 sensor and 120˚ angle.
The Reno4 Pro also features a liquid cooling system.
The Reno4 Pro is very thin and light, with a thickness of 7,6 mm and a weight of 172 grams. It comes in black and white versions, as well as the two Reno Glow colors, with shades of blue and red and a special finish.
Another option is the Reno4 Pro in light green, the color Green Glitter (Pantone Summer Green 2020).
Oppo Reno4
The Reno4 has a 6,43-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and aspect ratio as the Pro model. The screen also has an integrated fingerprint sensor, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. In addition, the front camera is dual, with the same 32-megapixel sensor as the Pro, plus a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The main camera is the same 48-megapixel one, but the other two are different. The 8-megapixel ultra-wide has an F/2.2 aperture and a 119˚ angle, and the other is a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Reno4 isn't quite as thin and light as the Pro model, but it's not bad either, measuring 7,8mm thick and weighing 183 grams. It comes in black, purple, and blue.
Pricing
The Reno4 with 8GB and 128GB of capacity costs 3000 Yuan, or about R$2113. With the same 8GB and 256GB, it costs 3300 Yuan or R$2325. The Reno4 Pro with 8GB and 128GB costs 3800 Yuan or R$2677. The version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB costs 4300 Yuan, or R$3029.
Both smartphones run Android 10 with Oppo's ColorOS 7.2 interface.
