Motorola today launched two entry-level smartphones in the United States and Canada, the new Moto E 2020 and the Moto G Fast. The Moto G Fast is actually a new name for the already known Moto G8, but with 3 GB of RAM instead of the 4 GB of the G8 that was launched over here.

Moto E 2020

The smartphone has a 6,2-inch display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The 5-megapixel front camera has an F/2.0 aperture and is located in a teardrop-shaped notch. This is the first Moto E to feature a dual camera and a fingerprint reader, which is located in a button on the back of the smartphone.

The camera has a 13-megapixel main sensor with F/2.0 aperture and PDAF autofocus, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The processor is a Snapdragon 632 with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of capacity, but it also has a slot for microSD cards of up to 512 GB. The battery is 3550 mAh, with 5-watt charging. The smartphone is 8,65 mm thick and weighs 185 grams. It is being launched in a single color option, blue.

Moto g fast

The Moto G Fast has a 6,4-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (2300 x 1080 pixels), while the 8-megapixel front camera with F/2.0 aperture is located in a circular cutout. Like the Moto E 2020, the fingerprint reader is located in the button on the back of the device.

The processor is a Snapdragon 665 with 3 GB of RAM, but the same 32 GB of capacity as the Moto E 2020. Likewise, it has a slot for microSD cards of up to 512 GB. The battery is 4000 mAh, with 10-watt fast charging.

The camera setup is triple, with a 16-megapixel main camera with F/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide (F/2.2) with a 118-degree angle, and a 2-megapixel macro (F/2.2). The smartphone is 9,05 mm thick and weighs 189,4 grams. It will also be sold in a single color option, white.

The Moto E 2020 will cost $150, or about €745. The Moto G Fast will cost $200, or R$993.
