Samsung will launch a special edition of the Galaxy S20+ in purple, themed after the Korean band BTS. In addition to the Galaxy S20+, the box will come with the Galaxy Buds+ headphones, also in a purple version.

In addition, the band's partnership with Samsung includes several promotional videos, and the promotion of the brand's devices by the seven band members on their social networks. The partnership between Samsung and BTS was announced in February of this year, along with the release of the band's latest album.

The purple version of the Galaxy Buds+ with black accents features the band's branding on the case and one of the earbuds, while the other has a heart. The images of the earbuds were found in their plugin on the Play Store. The smartphone itself does not have BTS branding, just the mirrored purple finish.

The edition is limited and pre-sales begin on June 19 and run until July 5. The release is scheduled for July 9, which is the founding date of the band's fan club, the BTS ARMY.

The global version of the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition will be launched by Samsung in partnership with the French retailer FNAC. We do not yet know how many units of this special version will be launched.

It's worth remembering that the Galaxy S20+ was also going to get one special edition in honor of the Tokyo Olympics, but it was canceled after the Olympics were postponed until next year.
