P Smart 2020

as already was expected, Huawei has launched the P Smart 2020 in Europe. The reason for the relaunch is simple: to offer an option with slightly better specifications, but with support for Google's mobile apps and services. This strategy is exactly the same as the P30 Pro New Edition, which we talked about here.

P Smart 2020

The OP Smart 2020 is practically the same as the 2019 model, but with two details that can make a difference: more RAM and more capacity. Instead of 3 GB of RAM, it has 4 GB, and instead of 64 GB of flash memory, it now has 128 GB. It also has a slot for microSD cards of up to 512 GB.

Thus, the rest of the technical specifications are identical to the P Smart 2019, with a Kirin 710 processor and a 3400 mAh battery. Its 6,21-inch LCD screen has Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The 8-megapixel front camera is located in a notch. The dual camera has a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Although the smartphone is an old, revamped model, the presence of Google apps and services is likely to work as a good selling point. OP Smart 2020 costs 199 Euros, or around R$1268, and it is already being sold in some European countries such as Italy and Germany.

Huawei Y9s

In addition, Huawei launched the P Smart Pro in Europe, which features a 16-megapixel front camera in a pop-up. The smartphone has a 6,59-inch LCD screen, also with Full HD+ resolution. Its processor is the Kirin 710F and it has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of capacity. The battery is 4.000 mAh.

For those who found the P Smart Pro familiar, it is exactly the same as the Huawei Y9s that we show here the other day, only the name is different. OP Smart Pro costs 279 Euros (R$ 1778). Read more about it on the Huawei Portugal website.
